About Carol

Thanks for checking out my profile!  I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and have been training and instructing locally for over 35 years and am passionate about helping others feel the best ever physically and emotionally.  Some familiar places I‘ve trained include Bally’s, Gold’s Gym, Bodyplex, and Anytime Fitness to name a few.  I've instructed Pilates classes for Gwinnett Medical Hospital and currently train and instruct fitness and yoga classes for the employees of Jackson County, GA.  I also train virtually for Element3 Health. 


After many years of training at local gyms, I decided to become an independent trainer building my own client base and training in my fully-equipped fitness studio or client’s home (or desired location such as outside or community fitness center).  I currently am working as a Personal Trainer at a 55+ retirement community, the Villages at Deaton Creek in Hoschton, which keeps me busy from early morning till early afternoon.     


I enjoy training women and couples of all ages but specialize in training individuals who struggle with losing weight and yo-yo dieters who want to finally get and keep the weight off and/or desire to make physical activity a lifestyle instead of a chore. I can help you not only lose weight but help you be free from an addiction to food.  It won't happen overnight but it can happen!  I also am a certified Bone Fit Specialist and help women who have been diagnosed with low bone health, Osteopenia and Osteoporsis build and maintain bone and muscle. 


Being my own success story, I can share with you how I successfully lost weight eating real food, maintained weight loss, and made physical fitness something I now enjoy and have made a way of life forever. I love being physically active and hope it's contagious to those I meet.  


I mainly train in my private studio in Pendergrass however, I am willing to come to your home depending on how far you are (miles and time it takes me to get to you).  Whether you are a beginner and new to exercise or have experience and want help with your fitness goals (build muscle or a strong core).  I can provide variety and freshness to your workouts. Wherever you are, no matter what age, you can start feeling better about yourself today and feeling good!    


My favorite client story

I worked with a 50 year old female client, Laura, for a year whose goal was to lose 50 lbs. and she did. She trained with me 2 days a week, ate real food and was consistent, missing only two sessions the whole year. After she lost the weight and was on maintenance, we continue to be good friends and keep in touch. She maintains her weight loss strength training 3 times a week and doing cardio on alternate days. Definitely my best success story and she is no different than you. You can be successful too.

My favorite exercise

I enjoy hiking on natural trails but also walking/jogging in my neighborhood and lift weights 2 -3 times per week. I also try to do Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates during the week. It compliments everything I do.

My training philosophy

Effort = Results. The more effort you put into training the quicker you will get results. If you don’t give it your best you are only cheating yourself. It’s up to you. Trust me as your trainer, follow my advice and you will get results.

My training experience includes helping women and couples lose weight, get strong, or just start feeling better. I have 35+ years of experience and train exclusively and independently on my own, working with clients of all ages to help them reach their fitness and health goals. Wherever you are in this fitness journey, whether a beginner and have never exercised a day in our life, I can help you. I believe in YOU. Feeling your best is a journey, not a destination. I first started looking for a trainer at the end of June. I skimmed through several different profiles, but when I landed on Carol I knew she was the one. Her prices are great and she has a lot of experience. During the month of July, I met with her twice a week. This was a great kick start to a healthier lifestyle. I went from sitting on the couch, watching tv all day to happily working out daily. Since returning to work in August, Carol has been coming over to my house weekly.
