About Mila

I am a certified personal trainer and women’s fitness specialist (NASM). I have over four years of experience working with clients. Furthermore, I recently got certified for prenatal and postanal fitness training (FIT4MOM), as I have a lot of clients who are pregnant.

I am originally from Brazil, but I have been living in the US for about 10 years now. I also became an American citizen this year (2025), which I am really proud of. I have always loved working out and taking my friends to the gym with me. But when I became a personal trainer, I fell in love with training people (specially women). I started my own business, Mila Fitness, in March of 2022. It is my joy to help my clients get into an exercise routine and implement healthy eating habits in their diet.

For my hobbies, I love to hang out with my animals, Bella and Bruno. I also love to work out, go on hikes and play tennis. I have goals for myself, which is to master doing a handstand hold. When I am not doing something active, I usually paint and read books. I also enjoy going to church and serving in the kids ministry!

My favorite client story

Langley Evans wanted to look toned and beautiful for her Wedding day. She started her fitness journey a year prior to her big day. She lost 15lbs in a year period, and looked more "toned" than ever. She continues to workout as a habit and has set new goals to run a marathon.

My favorite exercise

Seated hip abduction machine, ball tuck ins, any creative/different kind of exercise.

My favorite quote

"no unbelief made her waiver concerning the promise of God" - Romans 4:20 (referring to the hope that we have in Jesus).

My training philosophy

I love to teach and encourage young women to exercise with confidence.

My training experience

I have been a personal trainer for almost three years now. I have helped many girls who were intimidated by exercising to get into a workout routine as a habit for life. They have learned and continue to learn so many exercises as they work on their fitness goals.
