About Andrew

My name is Andrew I am a personal trainer and an obstacle course trainer. I have worked with people looking to build endurance, sports performance, and obstacle course readiness. My training is boot camp fashion as I believe people need that motivation to get through a workout. I work now mostly out at parks, and VIRTUAL to keep social distancing. I am very responsive, kind, and understanding in regards to fitness levels and different abilities. I strive to bring out the best in people that they themselves do not see. I am a Spartan Trainer and what they teach us is to never give up, and dig down deep to achieve what you set out to achieve. I focus a lot on body weight exercises which is why I have been so successful, as people can do my workout routines almost anywhere and at anytime. My clients are looking to increase mobility, endurance, strength, as well as cardio. I became a trainer to rip people off the couches and to sculpt them in to what they desire. I have been in the fitness field for a little over 4 years, and I have been running obstacle courses for over 2 years. I can travel to people, but it will be in an outdoor location, and if we meet up it will be at a park.


My favorite client story

I was training a person who was 350lbs in Washington, virtually. His goal was to do a Hurricane Heat which is a 4 hour endurance event held by Spartan Race. I trained this person with tough moves and lots of weight loaded runs. They pushed as hard as they could, and at the end was ready. They completed the Hurricane Heat (some people do not finish the event), then showed me the medal that they earned.

My favorite exercise

Squats! I love Squats. Being a runner and obstacle course athlete, it is important to have strong legs to get through the tough terrain.

My training philosophy

Our bodies have so much potential, that the average person does not tap in to. We actually do not achieve this full potential. when I train, i push the body to limits that clients never realized. At the end of the sessions (depending on what it is) they have a new found look at what they actually can accomplish. When pushed out of peoples comfort zones, it's amazing to see the transformation.

My training experience

I have been training my whole life. In high school i was lifting weights and working out (not to be big, but just to be healthy). I always loved the gym and watching my body transform when committing to it. After a little while I just realized that I could help other people find that passion and commitment. So, i got my CPT certification as well as my Spartan SGX certification. Spartan has changed how I workout and how I see myself. I no longer have limits and when I see them, i push past them with everything I got. I train my Spartan clients to do the same and they have completed countless races. That is the experience I want everyone to share.

I have been working with Andrew over the last three months to get moving again. I let him know what I needed, how I felt sitting 8 hrs a day, and not really working out much over the last couple years. Over the last three months I have not only been able to fit my clothes better but I can also move around much better without pain. He did also work with me on my comfort levels, pushing me a little at a time, to see how much more I can do to accelerate my progress. I definitely recommend this trainer and love his workouts!
