VerifiedAbout Julie
Hello everyone! My name is Julie Devine and I live in the Tampa, FL area. I have always loved sports and fitness and I played college softball at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine. I got my degree in Athletic Training and have been the Head Athletic Trainer at Gulf High School for the past 6 months, as well as an Coach at Orangetheory Fitness. In December 2017 I got my masters degree in injury prevention/performance enhancement and rehab science from California University of Pennsylvania. In May of 2018 I decided to focus on my own health and fitness and fell in love with it again, and that's when I decided I wanted to become a personal trainer to help other people reach their goals and perform better. In August of 2018 I got my personal trainer certification from ACE and have been training clients and running weekly bootcamps ever since! I hope to one day open up my own training facility with my fiance but in the meantime, I can travel to your home or we can meet at my house where we have our own home-gym in my garage.. I'm still working at the high school so my available is varies depending on the day. I love doing corrective exercise and functional training, and I specialize in working with softball players. I'm a huge fan of circuit training and incorporating cardio into the workouts.
My favorite exercise
Upper Body - Face Pulls
Lower Body - Bulgarian Split Squat
Core- Supermans and Plank
My favorite quote
"If it was easy, anyone could do it"
My training philosophy
If you put in the work, so will I. Personally training is a two way street. I can make you be motivated, but I can help you become disciplined and provide you with the right tools to become successful.
