I trained with Philip for over 3 years at the Parkpoint Club in Sonoma, California. I saw him 2-3 times per week. I found Philip through the manager of the Club. What i liked about his training style was that he combined cardio as well as strength training and helped me with balance, which I wanted to maintain and improve as I entered my mid sixties. He utilized all of the training vehicles and machines as well as creating some one-off exercises that challenged me. I would spend 30 minutes warming up before my half-hour session with Philip. Unlike many trainers, Philip did not want to become my best friend. I liked that, as our relationship was a professional one. Philip is serious about his profession and makes it a full-time job.

I worked with Phillip on cycling & general fitness issues. He was great - able to listen to my focus areas & provide good solutions to what I was hoping to achieve (I'm an active road cyclist & past endurance cyclist). I also loved his spin classes!! They were the best- always fun & challenging. We miss him in Sonoma.

Philip was my trainer for over a year. I worked with Philip primarily on strength conditioning for cycling. I found him to be very knowledgeable and capable of helping me to obtain my fitness goals. He has a deep knowledge of strength training, including how to deal with old injuries and strains. I continue to use several of the strength and core exercises he taught me with good results and am basically injury free! As an avid road cyclist I found Philip's spin classes to complement and enhance my outdoor riding too. Plus he plays a great mix of music during spin!

So Philip has deserted the Northern California Wine Country for the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Well, you Texans are lucky to have him. My wife and I trained with him since relocating to Sonoma from SF years ago. He's very good.

I highly recommend Philip as your trainer. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the use of weights and machines, Philip is great at working and aligning your goals so that you get the most out of your workouts. Just as important Philip knows the importance of form which we all know is number one in working with your body. Go for it, Philip one let you down!

If cycling is your thing, Philip is your man. (His choice of music to spin by is the best). But he is much more than that. I had the good fortune to work out with Philip weekly for the year I was in cancer treatment. Every week I was introduced to new exercises, taught how to use a wide variety of machines, and came away with an appreciation of just how great exercise can make you feel. Philip is very knowledgeable, patient, and a very fine trainer.

I am the opposite of athletic, in my mid-60s, and had never worked with a trainer before. Philip was patient and encouraging and helped work out a routine that worked for me.
